Panther Super-Skills Competition kicks off on Bank Holiday Monday 7 May!
Following its huge popularity over the last few years, Middlesex will once again be running its Panthers Super-Skills Competition throughout the summer months at various home Clydesdale Bank 40 matches. We’ll be holding three separate heats for the 2012 competition on the Lord’s Nursery Ground, at the matches on Monday 7 May when Gloucestershire pay a visit to Lord’s, on Sunday 3 June when our opponents are the Netherlands, and finally on Sunday 10 June when we take on Lancashire.
Each afternoon of heats (1.30pm – 4pm) will offer competitions for both boys and girls groups, in age categories of under 9s, under 12s and under 16s. As always the best players from each of the six categories, based on the scores they post from a series of bowling, batting and fielding drills, will be invited back to Lord’s for free, with their families, to compete again in the Grand Final, on bank holiday Monday 27 August, when we play Essex in our final home group match of the CB40 competition. At the Panthers Super-Skills Finals, all heat winners will go head to head to compete for the ultimate prize of being crowned 2012 Panthers Super-Skills Champion!
HEATS: Monday 7 May, Sunday 3 June, Sunday 10 June
All Under 16s are welcome - it's completely FREE to take part...just turn up on the day!
Tickets for CB40 matches at Lord's are: £18 for adults, £9 for over 65s & £5 for under 16s (FREE for KIDS on Mon 7 May).
