Middlesex CCC statement regarding Tom Maynard

18 June 2012Middlesex County Cricket Club would today like to offer its deepest sympathies to the family, friends and cricketing colleagues of young Surrey batsman, Tom Maynard, who tragically lost his life in the early hours of this morning.
Many of our own squad have played with or against Tom in recent seasons, and he was known to all of them as an exceptionally likeable young man and a hugely talented cricketer. His death comes as a huge loss to the game of cricket.
