Pinky the Panthers 'Road to Cardiff' Training Video!
03 July 2012
This Sunday is your last chance to catch the Middlesex Panthers in twenty20 action at home this season, as the boys in pink take on the Kent Spitfires at Uxbridge Cricket Club.
Tickets are still available to buy online until 12pm on Thursday 5 July, and on the gate on the day, priced at £15 for adults, £8 for over 65s and just £5 for under 16s, so head on down and cheer on the Panthers!
Gates open at 1pm, with the match starting at 2.40pm!
Middlesex’s famous furry mascot will also be putting the finishing touches to his intensive training regime, as during the match interval he does his final practice run of the season, ahead of the biggest day of his year in August in Cardiff, when he takes on all comers in the mascots race at twenty20 finals day!
To see how hard Pinky has been training for his big day watch the following video where he hooks up with Middlesex players Harry Podmore and Steven Crook!
The three of them get put through their paces by the brutal “Jarhead”, AKA Luke Woodhouse, Middlesex CCC's Strength and Conditioning Coach and then Pinky pounds the pavements of St Johns Wood as he fine tunes himself for the big race later this year in Cardiff. Go Pinky Go!!!
