Middlesex County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that Adam London has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
London - 24 - was the top run scorer in Middlesex 2nd XI cricket in 2012, scoring almost 800 runs at an average of just under 40. He has also posted three half centuries in the nine first-class games he has so far played for the club.
Commenting on London's signing Middlesex County Cricket Club's Managing Director of Cricket, Angus Fraser, said: "Despite a lack of first team opportunities Adam continues to impress Middlesex's Cricket Management Team. We all believe he has the game that will allow him to score runs in first-class cricket when opportunities come along.
"The retirement of Andrew Strauss and departure of Scott Newman and Tom Scollay means that Adam is more likely to feature in the first eleven in 2013. Along with Paul Stirling, Adam Rossington and Josh Davey he will be competing for a batting slot should poor form or injury to other players come along."
