This year the Middlesex Cricket Board contacted all schools involved in the Chance to Shine programme offering their pupils the chance to win a Middlesex CB40 or FL t20 shirt. To win the shirts pupils were asked to write about or draw their favourite cricket session from the programme this year. Both of our winners were from St Edmunds Primary School in Teddington: Callum Farr winning the drawing competition and Enya Collins winning the writing competition. It was felt these two entries incorporated a number of key elements learnt within the coaching sessions and above all best highlighted the enjoyment they experienced!
The Middlesex mascot Pinky the Panther visited St Edmunds Primary School on Monday 12th November surprising the pupils during their assembly and handing out the prizes.
