Podmore will be registered with Middlesex for 2013

05 December 2012Middlesex County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Harry Podmore has been taken on by the MCC as one of its Young Cricketers for the 2013 season. Middlesex will register Podmore for the 2013 season, so he will be available to play for the County should form or injury dictate, and he will be available to play for the Second Eleven when he’s required. Podmore is currently spending the winter training with Middlesex’s professional staff at Finchley.
Middlesex’s Managing Director of Cricket Angus Fraser commented… “We are delighted that Harry has this opportunity and hopefully it will lead to him getting a full contract with Middlesex in the not too distant future. Harry’s bowling came along a lot during the summer especially when more senior bowlers were absent. He has a lot of potential and with hard work will become a high quality bowler.”
