Ramprakash receives MBE in New Year's Honours List
29 December 2012
Middlesex County Cricket Club would like to congratulate new batting coach, Mark Ramprakash, who has received an MBE in this year's New Year's Honours List for his services to cricket; an honour which he richly deserves.
Ramprakash retired from cricket this summer after scoring over 35,000 First-Class runs during his career, and playing for England in 52 Tests and 18 ODIs. He has now accepted a two year offer to return to Middlesex to oversee the development of the club's batsmen until at least the end of the 2014 English Domestic Cricket Season.
