22 January 2013Middlesex County Cricket Club is currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive.
Background
Middlesex County Cricket Club is one of the leading county clubs in England. Established in 1864, the county has won the county championship 12 times and one day competitions 8 times, and has provided 12 Test captains, Andrew Strauss the most recent. Steven Finn and Eoin Morgan currently represent England. Middlesex’s home ground is Lord’s, the most famous ground in world cricket.
Current Status
Middlesex finished 3rd in Division 1 of the county championship in 2012, and have a strong squad of players and support staff.
The club has a solid financial base.
Needs
Middlesex require an experienced Sales Executive to significantly increase revenues primarily through membership and sponsorship.
Requirements
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
- a successful sales background
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- ability to put together and deliver presentations
- competent in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- a passion or empathy for cricket
- strong research ability
- hard working and a positive outlook
- team player
- able to be self-motivated and work autonomously
Salary
A competitive salary plus significant commission.
