The 2013 domestic cricket season is about to begin as Middlesex County Cricket Club start by playing a two-day pre-season friendly against Essex County Cricket Club at Chelmsford starting tomorrow, Thursday 21 March.
Middlesex CCC will choose a 12-man side to play against Essex CCC tomorrow from their 15 available players:

OLLIE WILKINOf those players that are unavailable, Steven Finn & Eoin Morgan are on England duty, Tim Murtagh & Paul Stirling are on Ireland duty and Joe Denly & Dawid Malan left today to play for the MCC squad in their UAE tour. Chris Rogers & Corey Collymore will be re-joining the Middlesex squad for pre-season training in the next couple of weeks.

- Gates will be open at 9:30am with play due to start at 10:30am
- Lunch will be taken at 12:45pm–1:25pm
- Play will resume for 2 hours 15 minutes after lunch
- There will be a quick change of innings and play will resume for 2 more hours
