Kath Koshel spent the 2008 and 2009 summer’s in England as the Middlesex Women’s overseas player. During those two summers Kath made a lasting impression on all of the Middlesex players and coaches. Her performances on the field were consistently very good and went a long way to helping to develop a young team through setting a fantastic example but it was off the field that she made the biggest impact. This was done through the infectious nature she has, her values and through just being a genuinely good person.
The players still speak about the two years that Kath spent with us. So it was extremely difficult to hear of her difficult 2012, which you will be able to read more about in the below link. Please do spend the 5 minutes it will take to read the story of Kath’s 2012 struggles with her leg and how through sheer determination and will power was able to save her leg.
Kath and her friends are this weekend doing one burpee for every one dollar raised for a charity that helped her during 2012. All of Kath’s friends and teammates at Middlesex would like to wish Kath every success for the burpee challenge, she is an inspiration.
