After last week's defeat to Glamorgan it is important we bounce back with a win tomorrow, Sunday 12 May, against Gloucestershire at Bristol. There are areas where we were not as good as we wanted to be against Glamorgan and the challenge is to make improvements in them.
Gloucestershire have played well against us in the past and it is vital that we are up for the challenge. We know they will be competitive and well drilled and that we will have to be at our best.
Toby Roland-Jones is away with England Lions and Steven Finn joins up with England meaning our fast bowling resources are quite stretched at the moment. Jame Harris successfully came through fitness testing last week and will play for the second eleven on Monday against the Club Cricket Conference and if he comee through that he will be available for selection against Somerset on Wednesday.
Middlesex are pleased to announce the following 13-man squad to play against Gloucestershire in a Yorkshire Bank 40 match at Bristol tomorrow, Sunday 12 May:
Neil Dexter (captain)
