Congratulations to North London CC, the winners of this year’s Lady Taverners U11 Club softball competition and well done to all who took part. The standard has increased year upon year but the fielding in particular this year was of a very high quality, with many diving stops, superb catches and excellent examples of boundary fielding. The U11 age group in particular has struggled this year as a result of the weather washing out most Cricket last year and therefore all four clubs did very well to get teams out.
Many thanks to Martin Issitt for organising the day and hosting the competition.
Next up on 19 May is the Lady Taverners U13 Club softball competition at Regents Park. Best of luck to all!
