Middlesex County Cricket Club's annual Ladies' Day will take place on Saturday 3 August, on Day Two of Middlesex’s LV= County Championship match against Durham CCC, in the newly refurbished area at the top of the Mound Stand for the first time this year. After the success of the last few years, the numbers attending Ladies' Day are growing so the Mound Stand area offers more space. It also has the benefit of one of the best views of the pitch in the ground, so Ladies and their accompanying gentlemen guests can view the cricket whilst enjoying their complimentary glass of champagne.
Ladies & their guests are invited to the Mound Stand area from 12pm and will be offered one free complimentary glass of champagne, courtesy of PLB Wines. The complimentary glass of champagne is only available to guests arriving at 12pm (there is a limited supply of champagne and it will be provided on a first come, first served basis, and will be limited to one glass per person). There is a strict smart dress code and gentlemen need to be in jacket and tie and be accompanied by a lady! Hats are encouraged for the ladies but are not compulsory. The 'Best Hat' competition will, this year, be judged by DJ Mike Read, who currently hosts the morning show on Magic FM, and is also a supporter of our Charity Partner, Shooting Star CHASE. Shooting Star CHASE volunteers will be at the ground on Saturday and also 10% of all proceeds from the beauty treatments & jewellery sales will be donated to the charity.
The Beauticians will again be available all day in the Mound Stand. To book an appointment for a mini manicure, mini pedicure or reflexology please email email@example.com . If you wish to have a treatment between 10.30am and 12pm you will need to book in advance in order to gain entry to the Mound Stand. For treatments between 12pm and 5pm bookings in advance are being taken but are not compulsory. This year, we also have a stall selling Stella & Dot jewellery, which originates and is designed in New York, and is exclusively available through special events and hostess parties, there are no retail outlets. It is boutique style costume jewellery – affordable luxury, ranging from £15 to £200, and is favoured by magazine editors, having recently appeared in Elle, Marie Claire, Grazia, InStyle, Vogue and more!
BBQ food will also be available to purchase from the Deli at the top of the Mound Stand, and will include Gloucester Old Spot Sausages, Cajun Chicken, Beef Burgers in a Soft Bap, Portobello Mushroom Burgers and New Potato Salad (prices range from £4.50 to £6).
So, come and join us for what is one of the best days out at Lord's each year!
Tickets for the match can be bought on the gate on the day - All Ladies will get FREE ENTRY into the ground, Gentlemen £16, Over 65s £8, Under 16s £5 and Middlesex Members FREE.
Gates open at 10am and play is due to start at 11am.
