In conjunction with Brondesbury CC and Primrose Hill CC, Middlesex CCC are seeking applications for the role of Regional Academy Head Coach. This role is a full time post with the following time allocation: MCCC 50%, BCC 25%, PHCC 25%.
As part of this unique partnership, the appointed coach will be required to work across all aspects of the Middlesex CCC Pathway from club cricket to Academy level, directly accountable to the Head of Youth Cricket with the goal of identifying and developing players who are deemed to have the potential to move into the First Class game.
The appointed coach will work extensively with the clubs to enhance their coaching programmes. These clubs have almost 500 colts players between them and the new coach will be working for both clubs on a minimum of two days a week coaching both local schools and colts sides. The role will be year round and include coaching at Lords Indoor School during the winter months.
The appointed coach has the opportunity to build a substantial personal coaching business in the local area, through school holiday camps and one-to-one sessions. The successful application will have experience in coaching talented young crickets to county standard and must enjoy working with young cricketers in creating an environment for players to enhance their cricket development
It is expected that the appointed coach would be qualified to at least ECB Level 3, and desirable that they hold, or are working towards Level 4.
Year 1 Salary: £30k - £35k (dependent on candidate experience and suitability)
