Middlesex County Cricket Club will be holding a Community & Family Day on Thursday 31 July at our Royal London One-Day Cup match against Surrey, with FREE ENTRY for all under 16s.
As well as all the on-the-pitch action, as Middlesex take on their closest rivals from across the river, Surrey, we will be holding some cricket games on the Nursery Ground, which will give young cricketers the opportunity to put their cricketing skills to the test at the Home of Cricket. To get involved really couldn't be simpler - if you're under 16 and fancy taking part, all you need to do is turn up at the Nursery Ground on the day!
Middlesex is proud to be supporting the RAF Benevolent Fund on the day, so please show your support by giving any change you can spare to their collectors. Please do visit their marquee on the Nursery Ground, where you can try your hand at winning a Middlesex squad signed shirt, which will be drawn during the interval. The Band of 282 (East Ham) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets will also be playing on the outfield during the interval and before play starts on the day.
Our Community & Family Day will also be the club’s 2014 SOS Kit Aid Day. SOS Kit Aid recycles sports kit for the benefit of young people in the UK and overseas. We will have a collection point at the Nursery end of the ground on 31 July, so bring all your old kit along and make a difference! For more information about SOS Kit Aid please visit http://www.soskitaid.com/
We hope as many of you as possible will be able to join us, for what we hope will be a fantastic day for everyone!
Gates open at 9.30am and play is due to start at 10.30am.
