The August issue of Middlesex Matters is on sale now, priced at just £2.50 for Middlesex members and £3 for non-members, and is now available to purchase from the Middlesex Shop at Lord's. For those unable to make it along to Lord’s, the magazine is also available in digital e-reader format from the Middlesex online store, priced at just £1.
The magazine is in A5 format, in full colour and offers an in-depth monthly view into all things Middlesex cricket; packed full of match reports, statistics, inspiring articles, insightful interviews and much much more.
There’s plenty of action to look forward to in August as the Royal London One Day Cup competition gathers pace, the Middlesex President’s XI and MCC President’s XI go head to head at Lord’s, we play host to the Indian tourists on 22 August and at the end of the month Warwickshire CCC visit the Home of Cricket, as we look to finish strongly in Division One of the LV= County Championship.
This month’s featured Recreational Club Focus falls upon Stanmore Cricket Club, home club of our very own Angus Fraser, whilst our overseas Aussie, Chris Rogers, brings us up to speed on everything that’s going on in the camp in our “Behind Closed Doors” feature. We get to know some of the back room staff who work behind the scenes here at the club and Middlesex life member Brian Miller recalls a special day in Windsor, when an array of Middlesex legends dusted off their whites and lined up alongside some of the current squad to take on the Royal Household Cricket Club in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
