Middlesex Coaches Association Programme - Oct 2015 onwards

These events are FREE to ECB CA and MCoA members - £35 for non-members.

COACH DEVELOPMENT EVENTS – LESSONS LEARNT FROM THE 2015 SEASON

This programme will be delivered in two sessions on consecutive weekends and is aimed at club coaches working with young players. The Middlesex Regional Head Coaches will explore and explain some of the key coaching points learnt from Middlesex youth cricket during the 2015 season, and help club coaches to deal with these when working with their players. 

Coaches wishing to attend these events should apply by email to Rod Croucher at [email protected] by 30 September 2015 giving details of coaching qualification, club and coaching role.

COACH EDUCATION EVENTS – ECB CPD MODULES

This programme of three stage and age appropriate CPD workshops will develop the knowledge, understanding and applied skills of coaches working with young people and adults in the club environment. It is aimed at coaches that hold the ECB Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults’ Cricket or the old Level 2 or equivalent qualification.

Successful completion of the three CPD modules contribute to coaches’ qualification for the ECB Diploma. Details will be given at the start of the programme.

Coaches wishing to attend these events should apply by email to Hannah Baxter at [email protected] by Friday 25 September 2015 giving details of coaching qualification, club and coaching role.

MIDDLESEX PERFORMANCE COACH DEVELOPMENT EVENT

This event is for invited Middlesex coaches and is aimed at those working in borough, regional and county age group cricket. The Middlesex Head of Youth Cricket will look at the qualities of players in the Middlesex Player Pathway in order to help borough and regional coaches to plan and deliver their programmes in 2016.

COACH SUPPORT WORKERS - CPD/Development Workshop

This event is for Coach Support Workers to give them some practical drills they can use indoors during the winter and to help prepare them for the 2016 Level 2 coach education programme.

Coach Support Workers wishing to attend this event should apply by email to Rod Croucher at [email protected] by 23 October 2015 giving details of club, coaching role and any plans for Level 2 course attendance.
