Following a three-day match against Oxford MCCU at the Parks, starting on Monday 11 April, the club will kick off its 2016 season with a home County Championship match against Warwickshire at Lord’s, starting on Sunday 17 April.

Middlesex will play all but one of our home County Championship matches at Lord’s, with the venue for the other match still to be confirmed (against Hampshire, starting on Sunday 29 May).

In the NatWest T20 Blast, Middlesex will kick off our campaign on Friday 27 May with a home match against Hampshire at Uxbridge Sports Club. Lord’s will host four of Middlesex’s NatWest T20 Blast group matches, all on Thursday nights under floodlights, with the first taking place on Thursday 16 June against Sussex.

The Royal London One-Day Cup 50-over competition will be played in two blocks in 2016, with the first four of Middlesex’s matches being played at the beginning of June and the final four group matches being played at the end of July and beginning of August. Middlesex’s first match is a home tie against Hampshire at Radlett CC on Tuesday 7 June. The other three home fixtures will be played at Lord’s.

Middlesex’s final fixture of the 2016 season will be a County Championship match against defending Champions Yorkshire at Lord’s, starting on Tuesday 20 September.

Managing Director of Cricket, Angus Fraser commented…

”The release of the fixtures brings to reality that next season is getting ever closer. Having seven home County Championship games at Lord’s is excellent news for us when you consider our recent record at the Home of Cricket. We also look forward to playing at our out-grounds too. I like this year’s fixture list more than last because the two blocks of white-ball cricket gives everybody a better chance of honing their limited over skills. September looks like it could be an exciting finish to the season with us playing against four of the bigger clubs in the country.”
