GUBBINS HAMSTRING INJURY SIDELINES HIM UNTIL END OF APRIL

over 6 years ago | Uncategorised

Really disappointed to announce that opening batsman Nick Gubbins will miss the start of the season after picking up a hamstring strain whilst fielding for the South in the final game of the recent three match series in the Caribbean.

Gubbins, who had to be helped from the field after picking up the injury, underwent a scan upon returning to the UK, which showed that he had sustained a grade two strain in the right hamstring.

Having commenced his rehabilitation, he is making good progress, and the medical team are expecting him to be available for action towards the end of April.

Everyone at the club wishes Nick a speedy return to fitness.
