Job Description: Middlesex Cricket are looking to appoint a part time physiotherapist to work within the Sports Science and Medicine Department based at Lord's Cricket Ground. This short term internship will run from mid-May 2018 to mid-August 2018 and will provide an opportunity to work within an elite professional sporting environment.
The role will involve providing physiotherapy support at training sessions and matches for Middlesex Cricket both working with other physiotherapists and independently.
Due to the nature of cricket the role will involve some evening and weekend work as well as some travel and overnight stays within the country.
On the job training will be provided as needed.
Requirements
- Physiotherapy degree and member of HPC and CSP - essential.
- A full driving license and ideally access to a car as job involves travelling to a variety of locations - essential.
- Pitch side trauma management qualification (help can be given to achieve this)
- Experience working within a team sport environment would be desirable.
