MIDDLESEX AND SPORTING PAY ENTER LONG-TERM COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP
Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce a new long-term partnership with merchant service provider Sporting Pay as the club’s payment partner and sponsor.
The club has signed a four-year deal, running from 2019 to 2022, which will see Sporting Pay provide innovative card payment facilities for all club operations.
With technology forming such an integral part of the club’s ongoing commercial operations, Middlesex Cricket were keen to find a partner who not only understood the business and landscape it operates in, but who were also keen to form a wider, long-term partnership.
Those requirements were more than matched in Sporting Pay, whose approach to the partnership was to invest long-term in Middlesex Cricket, rather than simply providing a payment infrastructure. Sporting Pay’s investment in the wider club sees them become one of the club’s long-term commercial partners, who will work alongside Middlesex Cricket for the foreseeable future as the club evolves.
Laura Angus, Commercial Manager of Middlesex Cricket, commented:
“Sporting Pay have been an absolute pleasure to work with in 2019, giving us both the tools and peace of mind that we are setting up a payment platform to maximise our revenue generation. We very much look forward to working with them over the next three years of the partnership.”
On the partnership, Chris Norminton, Director of Sporting Pay, said:
“We are delighted to become an official partner with Middlesex
Cricket, as well as helping the club to take card payments we are looking
forward to supporting their exciting season ahead.”
