Ealing Cricket Club (ECC), a leading Premier League Club in Middlesex, is looking to appoint a High-Performance Coach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all Performance cricket activities at the Club involving Men and Senior Boys. This will include all Senior Men’s teams and the Ealing CC Pathway activities. Key parts of the role will be to work with our 1st XI squad to improve performance and to identify and develop the most talented Junior Boys and seek to ensure their successful transition into the Senior Cricket activities at the Club.
Reporting to the Director of Cricket, Chad Barrett, the successful candidate will be a key member of the team managing our cricket activities at the Club and would be actively involved both in the management of our Senior Men’s and transition teams and in our extensive coaching programme that is provided throughout the year, both for our members and on holiday courses. A Level 3 coaching qualification is desirable, along with a current DBS and First Aid certificate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join ECC at a crucial time in the Club’s history, working with a dynamic team, led by our Director of Cricket.
This role is not expected to be a full-time role at this stage and the work will be spread throughout the year, albeit with a greater commitment required in the spring and summer months.

The role involves being a key member of the management team for the cricket activities of ECC and PCC, with specific focus on the following areas:
In this capacity, you will be involved in the coaching sessions entailed in the training sessions for most of these activities.
Your responsibilities will include running 1st XI/2nd XI training on Thursday evenings and assisting the 1st XI on match days with warm ups and general advice. Run and lead Tuesday evenings for U14 – 3rd XI.
You would also be involved in the coaching Boys in our ‘A’ training squads at U8/9, U10/11 and U12/13 to ensure we are identifying the most talented players and ensuring we are keeping the level of coaching for these players at the highest possible level. You will also run the PCC Masterclasses and slot into regular camps if not on a Masterclass during the summer holidays.
In addition to the coaching sessions, you would be the principal point of contact for Senior Team captains and Age Group Managers for the older Junior Age Groups (U14 - U17) and would co-ordinate their activities and assist with issues such as:
