Groundsperson
Hours: Near full-time (Summer)
Salary: Negotiable, but will be based on GMA recommended salary scale
Start Date: March 2023
About the Club
Founded in 1860, Wembley Cricket Club remains one of West London’s leading clubs within the Middlesex County Cricket League (MCCL). We have a thriving membership as well as a growing base of social and community members. We have four highly competitive men’s teams, junior sides, a girls’ side as well as social Sunday and midweek teams.
About the role
A fantastic opportunity now exists for a groundsperson to lead on the preparation and maintenance of playing surfaces and surrounds. As a club, we are incredibly proud of our ground and regularly receive positive feedback from visiting teams on the standard of our playing surface. The ground is self-contained with two squares. During the season the ground is used throughout the week and weekend for adult matches, junior matches, training sessions and external bookings. It is generally closed during the winter.
As groundsperson, you will report to the main cricket committee and have the following responsibilities:

Ideally working on a contract basis, the role involves working near full-time during the summer months (including Saturday’s during 1st XI home games).
