Bob Baxter


Born in Wembley, Bob attended Buxlow Preparatory school before moving to UCS school in Hampstead. During his time at UCS Bob joined South Hampstead Cricket Club, playing there for over 25 years, with twelve as 1XI captain.

Bob then moved to Brondesbury Cricket Club, playing until 2016 and is still fully involved as treasurer and as a director on the main sports club board.

Bob now umpires in the Middlesex County Cricket League on Saturdays and officiates in various Cup Competitions on Sundays. Bob has been Chairman of the Middlesex League since 1998, having served as Treasurer before this. He also serves the role of Chairman of the Middlesex Cricket Board and has been on the Middlesex Executive Board since 2009.

Bob worked in the City of London, lastly at Panmure Gordon until retiring in 2016 and now uses his spare time to watch and be involved in Middlesex Cricket.
