James Harris awarded County Cap

Being awarded a County Cap is a major moment in a player’s career and Middlesex CCC is pleased to announce that James Harris was awarded his County Cap today at Lord’s.

James is currently the third highest wicket-taker in Division One of the LV= County Championship having taken 41 wickets at an average of 25 (before the start of this match), and since joining Middlesex from Glamorgan has taken more than 110 wickets for the Club in all formats of the game. Earlier this season James took career best figures of 9-34 during Middlesex’s victory over Durham and in total he has now taken 317 first-class wickets.

Harry Latchman, the President of Middlesex CCC, presented James with his County Cap at the beginning of the tea interval.

We are sure that everyone associated with Middlesex would like to join us in congratulating James and wishing him continued success during his career with the club.
