2nd XI Championship: Middlesex v Surrey



After no play was possible on day 2 of the 2nd XI Championship match against Surrey at Richmond, play was due to start on time today with Surrey 2s 32-2. However, bad light has delayed the start to proceedings - we'll keep you posted.

Middx 2s: It's raining at Richmond, so play will not start on time. Inspection at 12pm.

Middlesex 2s put on 336 with Podmore 71* before Surrey ended the day on 32-2


TEA DAY 1: Middlesex 287-8

Middlesex 2s have reached 287-8 at tea with Happy Podmore going well on 53* and Tom Helm 17*. Earlier Nathan Sowter made the 2nd half century of the day - 52.



58 for Max Holden as Middlesex 2s reach 112-4 at lunch.
