Gloucs 2s 329 all out,  Middlesex 2s  win by 82 runs!

Day 3

Close: Middlesex took the wickets they needed on the final day to secure an 82 run victory! Harry Podmore and James Harris each took 3, with Harry finishing the match with 9 in total to his name. A good game with many great stand out performances, including Max Holden, Cam Steel and Robbie White all hitting centuries. 

Day 2

Close: Gloucestershire 251 all out trail Middlesex (384 & 241/3) by 374 runs.

Harry Podmore took 6/56 (including the first 6 wickets to fall) and James Harris 3/72 as Middlesex bowled Gloucestershire out for 251 to take the upper hand on Day 2. Robbie White then struck 106 in double quick time, and with the support of George Scott (67) Middlesex raced to 241/3 to establish a lead of 374 with one day left to play.

 

Day 1

Middlesex 384/5 dec, Gloucestershire 52/3.

Close: After being put into bat, Steel (112) and Holden (110) got Middlesex off to a flying start , before half centuries for James Harris (52) and Don Manuwlege (57) helped add to the 229 run partnership put on earlier by Steel and Holden. Middlesex then declared on 384, and by the end of the play had Gloucestershire 3 down - thanks to three quick wickets for Harry Podmore (3-17)

 

Gloucestershire won the toss and opted to field first.
