Day 4

Close: After 4 days of cricket Middlesex 2s and Warwickshire 2s have tied with the scores level at the end of day 4. 3 wickets each for Andersson, Rath and Bruce. 

Tea. Warwickshire 2s 181/3 at Tea, needing nearly 200 more with 1 session left to play. 2 wickets for Bruce and 1 for Rath so far.

Lunch. Middlesex CCC 2nd XI lead by 383 runs as we make 376 in our second innings. 105 for Cam Steel and 78 for George Scott the stand out performances.


Day 3

Close of play and Middlesex have moved to a lead of 259 runs, with Cam Steel 90* (from 137 balls) and Dom Manuwelge 14* the not out batsman overnight. Earlier in the innings George Scott made 78.  


Tea at Edgbaston where the 2s are 106/2 (a lead of 113). Cam Steel 27* and George Scott 18* are currently going well after Compton (18) and Eskinazi (30) got Miiddlesex off to a good a start. 


An early lunch is being had at Warwickshire as Middlesex 2s have bowled Warwickshire 2s out for 475, meaning we lead by 7 runs. 3 wickets each for Bruce and Walallawita 


Day 2

Close at Warwickshire as their 2s finish the day on 333/7, with J Bruce (3/33) the pick of the Middlesex 2s bowlers. There was also wickets for Godsal, Patel and Walallawita (2).


It's Tea up at Edgbaston where Warwickshire 2s have reached 209/3 , 272 behind Middlesex 2s total of 482. One wicket each so far for Bruce, Patel and Godsal on what is a good batting track. 
Lunch at Warwickshire where our 2s finished their innings on 482 all out with Anshy Rath (140) and Martin Andersson (110) top scoring for the Seconds. Warwickshire 2s are 66/0 in reply having faced 14 overs so far today.


Day 1

Day 1 has finished at Warwickshire with Middlesex 427/6. Anshuman Rath hit 140 as he lead the 2's recovery after a sticky spell this morning, and he received great support from Martin Andersson (106*) who also went on to reach three figures on the first day of this SEC match at the Foundation Ground. 


Tea at Warwickshire where our 2s are 283/5. Rath currently on 93* with Manuwelge the next highest scorer on 43. Martin Andersson currently going well on 36*.


Lunch at Warwickshire where our 2s are 133/4. Eskinazi and Steel both made 28 before getting out, whilst George Scott made 27.  Manuwelge (15*) and Rath (11*) will continue after the break.


Middlesex won the toss and decided to bat first.
