WATCH & LISTEN: Middlesex v Surrey Day 4 SCC

Middlesex fought back brilliantly on the afternoon of the final day at Lord's to secure a crucial draw, from the brink of defeat, against local rivals Surrey in the Specsavers County Championship. Needing to bat for the vast majority of the last day to save the game, Middlesex were in deep trouble on 82 for 5 after lunch, before George Bailey and James Franklin rescued the game for the hosts. Franklin hit a brilliant 70 off 153 balls, whilst Bailey held off the Surrey attack all afternoon to finish unbeaten on 110 from 199 balls to secure Middlesex the additional five points for a draw and maintain their lead at the top of the table.

After hitting a dogged unbeaten hundred at Lord's on day four to save the game for Middlesex, George Bailey chatted to BBC London's Kevin Hand at the close of play
