WATCH & LISTEN - MATCH ACTION AND INTERVIEW FROM DAY TWO AT TAUNTON V SOMERSET

Watch the key action as Middlesex faced Somerset on Day Two of the final Specsavers County Championship match of the season. Resuming the day on 18/3, Middlesex got off to a disappointing start as John Simpson was run out shortly after the restart. Although Dawid Malan and Paul Stirling were able to forge a useful partnership to strengthen the scoreboard, once the pair were removed the visitors struggled and were eventually bowled out for 142. In reply, Somerset got off to a shaky start themselves as 2 wickets were taken with just 26 runs on the scoreboard. However, despite losing skipper Trescothick later on in the innings, with Hildreth and Abell at the crease the visitors were able to build a strong innings lead and will go into Day Three on 159/3.

James Harris talks us through events on Day Two in Taunton, where Middlesex continue to fight against Somerset.
