2018 FIXTURES RELEASED - T20 BLAST

Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce their fixtures for the 2018 T20 Blast.

Middlesex Cricket, led by Daniel Vettori for his second season as T20 Head Coach, will begin their campaign to win the T20 Blast for the first time since 2008 with a marquee match at Lord’s against fierce rivals Surrey on Thursday 5th July. The London derby has been a sell-out at the Home of Cricket for the past three years and is sure to provide the perfect atmosphere to launch this year’s tournament.

The Surrey match will be followed by four further Thursday night matches under the Lord’s floodlights against Somerset on 19th July, Hampshire on 26th July, Sussex on 2nd August and Essex on 16th August. Middlesex’s other two home matches will be Sunday afternoon matches played against Gloucestershire on 9th July at Uxbridge Sports Club and Glamorgan on 5th August at Richmond CC.

Middlesex Cricket Chief Executive Richard Goatley commented: ‘We are delighted to have increased the number of T20 Blast matches at Lord’s to five this year. The full houses achieved for our matches over the past few years have demonstrated a clear demand for this format of the game and we are delighted to be able to give even more people the opportunity to watch our matches. Equally we are really pleased to have secured two Sunday afternoon dates for our out-ground matches which will give kids a great opportunity to see their heroes up close at Uxbridge and Richmond. County T20 attendances continue to go from strength to strength and I am sure this coming season will be an enormous success.’

Don't forget to keep an eye out for the full fixture list for the 2018 season which we'll be unveiling tomorrow at 11am!
