Middlesex Youngsters complete twelve hour charity 'Catch-A-Thon' for Barnet Hospital

A huge congratulations goes to each and every one of the young cricketers who spent Saturday night at Middlesex's Indoor Academy in Finchley, taking part in a twelve hour overnight catch-a-thon, all to raise vital funds for Barnet General Hospital.

The gruelling challenge kicked off at 7pm on Saturday evening and came to an end at 7am on Sunday morning, with the members of Middlesex's Elite Player Development Group spending twelve hours catching balls fired at them from a bowling machine.

Saturday's charity efforts took their fundraising to almost £4,000, but the lads aren't stopping there...

They have a Just Giving fundraising page set up HERE where you can still make a donation towards making this Christmas that little bit more special for those less fortunate than ourselves who find themselves in Barnet General Hospital over the festive period.

Congratulations again lads, what a superb effort. Well done to all concerned.

Here's a video of how the challenge went on Saturday night...
