2ND XI TROPHY VENUE CONFIRMED AS RADLETT ON 21ST JUNE

RADLETT TO HOST SECOND ELEVEN TROPHY FINAL BETWEEN MIDDLESEX AND SOMERSET

Following yesterday’s semi-final victories for Middlesex, who overcame Worcestershire, and Somerset, who beat Warwickshire, the ECB have announced that Radlett Cricket Club has been drawn as the venue to host the Second Eleven Trophy final.

The match will take place on Thursday 21st June, starting at 11am, with a reserve day scheduled for Friday 22nd.

With both Lord’s Cricket Ground and Somerset’s CACG unavailable to host the final, a draw was conducted last night to determine which side would host the match at their proposed alternative venues of Radlett or Taunton Vale, with Middlesex’s home venue pulled from the hat.

Entry to Radlett will be free of charge for all spectators to attend and everyone is welcome into the Radlett Pavilion, which will be serving bar refreshments and food throughout the day.

A good crowd were in attendance yesterday to support the side as Middlesex beat Worcestershire by five wickets, and it would be great to see an equally enthusiastic crowd at Cobden Hill on Thursday to cheer on the boys in the final.

We look forward to seeing you there.
