BE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER - BECOME A CRICKET WORLD CUP CLUB

The ECB are inviting clubs across the country to become a Cricket World Cup Club and ‘be part of something bigger’ throughout the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.

They're asking clubs to put on a Family Day and engage a new audience through the excitement of the Cricket World Cup.

This opportunity is open to all clubs, all centres, all communities – and it’s easy to get involved.

By taking part, clubs will be supported with marketing material and tips on how to put on a successful Family Day, with their lead volunteer (Cricket World Cup Champion) receiving unique Cricket World Cup merchandise and opportunities to be part of the Cricket World Cup.

Cricket World Cup Club Fund...

In support of the programme, clubs could receive a £1,000 grant to fund a project to digitise their clubhouse or improve catering facilities to enhance the Cricket World Cup experience at their club! The fund is only available to the first 2000 affiliated clubs that apply, so you must be fast - CLICK HERE to view the eligibility criteria.

Clubs can REGISTER HERE, or click the link above to explore the site for more information.

Get involved and be part of something bigger!

ECB Regional Head of Participation and Growth for London region, Leshia Hawkins said:

"Within the London region, we’re well aware of the fantastic opportunity that the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup presents and the importance of seizing upon this once in a generation event to continue to get more young people passionate about our game.

“The Cricket World Cup Club initiative created by the ICC and ECB is a golden opportunity and one that I encourage as many local clubs in Middlesex to sign up for. The Fund and CWC 2019 tournament represents a platform which we can utilise to grow a whole new generation of fans and players, boys and girls who will be playing at diverse, family-friendly clubs.”
