FAIRHOLME PRIMARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES C2C AWARD WITH TIM MURTAGH

FAIRHOLME PRIMARY NAMED AS CHANCE TO SHINE PRIMARY SCHOOL OF THE YEAR

Tim Murtagh made a surprise visit to Fairholme Primary School in Hounslow this week to congratulate them on being named as Chance to Shine's Primary School of the Year.

Representatives from other sports, students, teachers, Chance To Shine, ECB and Middlesex Cricket were all there to share in the school's success, with pupils and teachers also having the opportunity to pose for photos with the Middlesex legend.

Two lucky students, Ethan and Shay, then got the chance to grill Tim in an interview which included plenty of testing questions, not least of all what were Tim's thoughts on the new 100 ball format of the game.

James Watson, Fairholme Primary School's PE Co-Ordinator commented: "I am so grateful for everything Middlesex have done at Fairholme. The enthusiasm is infectious and the quality of provision is outstanding. The impact has been immeasurable."

Fairholme's Primary School's Head Teacher, Miss Williis added: "You have truly opened our children's eyes to new experiences and have helped them improve their self-confidence, self-esteem and behaviour and grow as young adults. The impact has been incredible"

Middlesex Cricket would like to pass on our congratulations to all at Fairholme Primary School for this amazing achievement.
