THE SEAXE CLUB NEEDS YOUR HELP!

AN APPEAL TO MIDDLESEX AND SEAXE CLUB MEMBERS!

Dear Members - it's time for an urgent reality check.

With the sad demise of the Seaxe Club's Secretary Elaine Knight and also the announcement that Treasurer Peter Jackson will be standing down at the year end; Seaxe Club urgently needs to replace both these individuals who have given so much to the club over the years.

Not only are Seaxe Club seeking their replacements, but they are also looking for new blood to assist with the running of the club because there is every danger that in the not too distant future the Seaxe Club will very likely be unable to continue in its present format.

It would be a great shame that after 50 successful years the Seaxe Club no longer had the ability to continue supporting cricket throughout the county of Middlesex.

The Seaxe Club has played a hugely important role in helping to develop young cricketers throughout Middlesex over the past five decades, with an endless stream of young cricketers who have received Seaxe support going on to represent the county here at Lord's.

Therefore to this crucial appeal.

The Seaxe Club needs both new members and new Committee members - and this is where you can help!

If any Middlesex members are interested in joining Seaxe Club then the process couldn't be any more straightforward - simply email Les Rowland at [email protected].

If any new or existing Seaxe Club members are interested in helping the club fulfil either the role of Club Secretary or Treasurer; or whether you would just be willing to join the Committee and help out in other areas, then please contact either Mike O'Farrell, Seaxe Club's Chairman, on [email protected] or Les Rowland on [email protected].

Thanking you in anticipation of your help and together we can help ensure that the Seaxe Club continues to provide Middlesex Cricket with invaluable support moving forwards.
