MUJEEB UR RAHMAN RETURNS FOR TOMORROW'S VITALITY BLAST QUARTER FINAL

Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce that Mujeeb ur Rahman has returned to the club for tomorrow's trip to Trent Bridge where Middlesex will take on the Notts Outlaws in the Vitality Blast quarter-final.

The eighteen year old Afghan mystery spinner played a crucial role for Middlesex in the club's opening nine South Group matches, bowling economically through the powerplay overs and picking up seven crucial wickets.

Middlesex's Head Coach, Stuart Law, commented on Mujeeb's return...

"To have Mujeeb back for the Quarter-Final is a massive boost for us.

"During his stint previously his bowling in the powerplay was impressive. Going at just over six runs per over was invaluable to our bowling effort and to have that back is tremendous."
