MIDDLESEX LAUNCHES NEW CONTENT TO AID THOSE IN SELF-ISOLATION

MIDDLESEX CRICKET LAUNCHES NEW ONLINE CONTENT TO KEEP MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS ENGAGED WHEN SELF-ISOLATING AND MAINTAINING SOCIAL DISTANCING

The current Coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact on all of us, with increased measures now in place across the country to ensure social distancing and self-isolation.

With the professional cricket season not scheduled to start until at least the 28th May, and with so many people restricted to their homes, we wanted to do our bit to make sure our members and followers remain engaged and in touch with us over the coming weeks and months.

Whilst we’re unable to satisfy your desire for live cricket action just yet, from today, followers of our social media channels will be able to enjoy a huge array of brand-new features, where every day we’ll be posting exciting and engaging new content for both young and old cricket lovers to enjoy throughout this difficult time.

So whether you love to reminisce about great moments in the club’s history, fancy yourself as the ultimate Middlesex quizzer, want to take part in ‘A Question of Sport’ type Middlesex themed games, enjoy colouring in, love getting lost in a juicy Wordsearch, enjoy the challenge of solving cricket based conundrums, or think you know more crucial stats than any other Middlesex fan, or plenty more besides, then from today you’ll enjoy what’s coming your way.

We’ll have exclusive content from the players, behind the scenes insights from within and around the squad, player challenges, and a whole host of other great content from the squad, just for you.

Also getting involved are the Middlesex Participation Team, who will be coming up with some innovative and exciting ways to keep you active and involved, with the launch of their #PinkysPavilion challenges, a series of activities and challenges that you can take part in to still get your cricketing fix whilst at home. Today they’ve uploaded a ‘how to play table cricket at home’ guide, so why not jump online, take a look, and get playing the brilliant game of table cricket now!

We’re starting off with a fun behind the scenes look at how the Middlesex squad have taken on the challenges of training from home – some more innovatively and creatively than others! We’ve launched the first of our brand-new Middlesex quizzes – asking if you can name every first-class captain to ever lead the side out, and also, we ask whether you can you find all the differences in our very first Spot the Difference competition which went live today!

We’ll be giving away loads of prizes in the coming weeks, so make sure you stay involved and you could be winning some Middlesex goodies and merchandise signed by the Middlesex squad!

Good luck with today’s competitions and make sure you keep returning to Middlesex’s social media channels to keep involved, with brand new content being added each and every day!
