MIDDLESEX CRICKET LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE MEMBERS CHAT FORUM!

MIDDLESEX CRICKET LAUNCHES ONLINE CHAT FORUM FOR MEMBERS – ‘THE MIDDLESEX ROOM’

As part of our ongoing campaign to maintain regular contact and engagement with our members throughout the current coronavirus lockdown, we have today launched an exclusive members’ only chat room, called ‘The Middlesex Room’.

Named after the famous Middlesex members’ and friends’ room, situated in the lower tier of the Allen Stand at Lord’s, the club was keen to provide a safe, secure and welcoming online environment for our members to engage with like-minded members, where they can discuss and debate any number of cricket and Middlesex themed threads.

Members can find the new ‘Middlesex Room’ within the Members’ Hub section on the Middlesex website, where from today they can access the site, register their details, and start to communicate with fellow members. To access the Members' Hub, click HERE

Should any members need help or assistance accessing the Members’ Hub, then they should call the Middlesex office on 0207 289 1300, as the phone line is being manned remotely and a member of the office team can help you with your enquiry. The office phones are being manned between normal office hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Head of Marketing and Communications for Middlesex Cricket, Steven Fletcher, commented:

“Last weekend, Middlesex members would ordinarily have been sat in the Middlesex Room in the Allen Stand, chatting to fellow members, as the first eleven played out the County Championship season opener in front of them on the hallowed Lord’s turf.

“Whilst there’s no substitute for the real thing, we wanted to ensure that our members can continue to debate the topics of the day and maintain contact with their friends and colleagues in the Middlesex family in an equally friendly environment.

“In these difficult times of self-isolation, when so many of us are missing cricket terribly and have a big void to fill, we hope that our members enjoy using the new chat forum and that it can provide them with some much needed social engagement, whilst hopefully helping to play a part in improving their mental well-being.”
