Match action from the Vitality Blast in Hove, where Sussex ran out winners over Middlesex by three wickets, to maintain their own hopes of qualifying for the quarter finals, but ended Middlesex's. John Simpson top scored for Middlesex, with 46, in a total of 155 for 8, with youngsters Joe Cracknell and Luke Hollman again shining with the bat, with 37 and 35 respectively. Hollman rounded off a great all-round performance by picking up 3 for 18 with the ball, however an impressive 56 from Sussex opener Phil Salt gave the hosts the initiative, as they reached their victory target in the final over, with four balls to spare, in a game which could have gone either way.
