VOTE FOR MIDDLESEX’S 2020 RED-BALL & WHITE-BALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

VOTE FOR MIDDLESEX'S 2020 RED-BALL & WHITE-BALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

In what has undoubtedly been a cricket season like no other, we wanted to offer our supporters the chance to play an important part in deciding which players are awarded the club’s prestigious annual Player of the Year awards, in both the red and white ball formats – and voting is now open!

Breaking from tradition, for the first time ever, our members and fans will be able to cast their votes for their chosen player in each format, with the player then being awarded the trophy at a specially arranged virtual End of Season Awards ceremony.

The club’s Cricket Management and Coaching team, comprising MD of Cricket Angus Fraser, Head Coach Stuart Law, and Assistant Coaches Nic Pothas and Alan Coleman, have drawn up a shortlist of candidates for you to pick from, leaving the ultimate decision on who wins the Award down to you!

RED-BALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The four players nominated for the Red-Ball Player of the Year, based on their performances in this season’s Bob Willis Trophy campaign are as follows:

WHITE-BALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The four players nominated for the White-Ball Player of the Year, based on their performances in this season’s Vitality Blast campaign are:

Members and fans can vote for the two prestigious Middlesex honours until Wednesday 4th November at 5pm and those who vote for the winners of each category will be entered into a prize draw to win the actual competition playing shirt, worn, signed and personalised by the player, from both the 2020 Red-ball and White-ball Player of the Year!

Thanks in advance to all members and fans for taking the time to vote for our Players of the Year in each format and good luck with your entry.
