REGISTER YOUR CLUB NOW AS AN ALL STARS OR DYNAMOS CRICKET CENTRE IN 2021!

After limited delivery of All Stars and Dynamos Cricket in 2020, Middlesex Cricket are really looking forward to the safe running of both programmes this summer and the ECB remain confident of clubs and centres starting their courses from 7th May 2021.

When that moment comes, we want to ensure there are as many All Stars Cricket sessions available for children to sign-up to across the county, so we are actively encouraging all clubs to register now on the ClubSpark platform for both the Summer Term from 7th May and Summer Holiday delivery window from mid-July.

What is All Stars Cricket?

All Stars Cricket is the ECB’s entry level programme for 5 to 8-year olds, looking to take their first steps in the game. All Stars is an eight-week coaching programme, from May onwards, delivered by Clubs and Club volunteers. In some areas where there are no traditional Cricket Clubs, Middlesex Cricket organise All Stars Cricket Community Centres run by the Participation Team coaches.

Each participant receives a backpack when they sign up, which includes a t-shirt, bat, ball, hat and an activity pack, which is delivered directly to your home address. Parents and guardians can book their child/ children a place at a local centre when the booking system opens.

What is Dynamos Cricket?

Dynamos Cricket is the ECB’s entry level programme for 9 to 12-year olds, aimed at attracting new children to cricket or as a progression from the successful All Stars Cricket programmes that have been running successfully for three years.

Dynamos Cricket is designed to offer an alternative style of cricket, with the eight hours of coaching being focused around the new countdown cricket format. The majority of the programmes will start in May and will be delivered by Clubs and Club volunteers. Similarly to All Stars Cricket, in some areas where there are no traditional Clubs, Middlesex Cricket have organised Dynamos Cricket Community Centres to be run by the Participation Team coaches.
