FINAL TWO 2021 HOME CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES TO BE PLAYED AT LORD'S

MIDDLESEX'S FINAL TWO DIVISIONAL MATCHES OF THE LV= INSURANCE COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE STAGED AT LORD'S

Whilst our opponents will not become clear until after the completion of the LV= Insurance County Championship regional group stages - being played between 08th April and 14th July 2021, we can confirm that our final two home matches in the competition, which will be in the divisional stages, will both be played at our home venue of Lord's Cricket Ground.

With the opening four home first-class matches all falling victim to ongoing Covid restrictions and needing to be played behind closed doors, we are thrilled that we have two further four-day matches at HQ which will be available for our members to attend.

At this stage, there are so many unknowns as to exactly how the Government's roadmap out of lockdown will unfold over the coming months, however we remain extremely optimistic that members and supporters will be able to enjoy these two and many other games over the season ahead in person.

The County Championship divisional home match dates are scheduled to be follows:

Middlesex will also play two away matches in the divisional stages of the competition, again with opponents unknown at this stage, starting on Sunday 5th September and on Tuesday 21st September.

The Divisional stages of the competition will determine which two sides qualify for the five-day Bob Willis Trophy final to be played again at Lord's from Tuesday 28th September.
