DAY TWO MATCH ACTION FROM THE AGEAS BOWL

All the action from day two at the Ageas Bowl in the LV= Insurance County Championship, where Steven Finn picked up the final two wickets of the Hampshire innings to dismiss the hosts for 319.

All of that good work was then undone by a devastating spell of pace bowling from Pakistan quick Mohammad Abbas, who ripped apart the Middlesex top order, picking up the wickets of the first six batsmen to help dismiss us for just 79. The Pakistan Test bowler finished with figures of 6 for 11 from 11 brilliant overs.

Hampshire then set about taking complete control of the game, closing day two on 204 for 2, to lead by 444 runs, with Sam Northeast unbeaten on 99.

Middlesex will return on day three, looking to dig deep and stay in the game.
