MIDDLESEX TO PLAY RED-BALL WARM-UP CLASH AGAINST MCCL REPRESENTATIVE ELEVEN

Middlesex Cricket can today confirm that the Club will play a warm-up clash against a representative side selected from the Middlesex County Cricket League, ahead of Middlesex’s return to County Championship action at the end of August.

The red-ball match will take place over two days, with 96 overs per side scheduled on each day, starting at 10.30am on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th August 2021. The game will be played at Old Merchant Taylors’ Cricket Club in Northwood, with play scheduled to end each day at 5.30pm.

Whilst the majority of Covid restrictions have been lifted, and members and spectators are welcome to attend the fixture to spectate, we remind all in attendance that there will still be a Players and Match Officials Area in operation, around the OMTCC Pavilion, and no spectator access will be allowed into this restricted zone.

Anyone attending the game is also advised that there will be no spectator facilities available for those watching, and we would recommend spectators to therefore bring their own chairs and refreshments with them to the match.

We look forward to seeing members and supporters at Old Merchant Taylors’ Cricket Club in Northwood over what promises to be an exciting two days of cricket.
