DON'T MISS SUNRISERS IN ACTION AT MERCHANT TAYLORS' SCHOOL

SUNRISERS V CENTRAL SPARKS AT MERCHANT TAYLORS' SCHOOL - FRI 10TH SEPTEMBER

On Friday 10th September, Sunrisers will take on Central Sparks in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy at Merchant Taylors' School.

The London and East regional elite Women's side have played all home matches to date at Essex's Cloudfm County Ground at Chelmsford, Northampton's County Ground, and at Cambridge University's Fenners Ground until now, however their next home encounter will take place much closer to home, in Northwood, Middlesex.

The fifty over encounter, which starts at 10.30am will see Sunrisers looking for their first win of the campaign, having already suffered defeat at the hands of the South East Stars, Thunder, Northern Diamonds and Lightning, and they'll have to be at their very best against a strong Central Sparks side who have won three of their opening four matches to this point and currently sit in third place in the table.

The Sunrisers squad features no less than eight Middlesex Women cricketers, in Amara Carr, Naomi Dattani, Cordelia Griffith, Kate Coppack, Gayatri Gole, Sonali Patel, Emily Thorpe and Katie Wolfe, with the former of these three players having featured in the recently completed Women's Hundred competition and now back in Sunrisers action.

Also returning to Sunrisers action from the Women's Hundred, dependant on availability due to England selection, are Jo Gardner, Lissy MacLeod, Grace Scrivens, Mady Villiers and Fran Wilson, and they and the rest of the squad will be looking to put on a strong performance against the Sparks upon their return to fifty over action with Sunrisers.

The side would love to get as much home support along to Merchant Taylors' School as possible, and Middlesex members can take advantage of free entry into the fixture, upon production of their valid 2021 membership card.

Middlesex members who have a valid 2021 season guest pass as part of their 2020 loyalty rewards can use this to also admit a guest to this fixture (season guest passes are only valid when used in the presence of the host member).

Non-member spectators are also encouraged to attend the fixture, and tickets are available to purchase from the Sunrisers website now!

Tickets are priced at £10.00 for adults, £5.00 for Over 65's and Under 16's, or family tickets are available (2 adults and up to 4 under 16's) at just £20.00.
