A message of thanks from Middlesex Cricket’s Chair of the Membership Committee, Marilyn Smith.
On behalf of all at Middlesex Cricket, I wanted to personally thank each and every member who has taken the time to give us their views, thoughts, and opinions, by completing the recent online survey we sent to members.
The response levels of the survey were outstanding, and the feedback we have received, from almost 2,000 members, has not only proven to be invaluable to us as we look to reward the loyalty of the members for the ongoing disruption you have suffered this year due to the ongoing pandemic, but it has also been incredibly insightful in giving us a greater understanding of what you the members want from your Club.
You have my assurance that your feedback is currently being reviewed, will be taken into consideration, and will be at the forefront of the decisions we make when confirming the package of loyalty benefits that will be available to members as we look ahead to 2022.
There are some very clear themes coming through from all the feedback you have provided, which makes the task of providing you with appropriate rewards that much more straightforward, however there are also some challenging areas that have been raised, that we will also be doing our level best to address and accommodate wherever possible.
The next steps in this process are for your membership Committee to recommend a loyalty rewards package to the Club’s Board of Directors, which when approved, will be communicated to all members at the appropriate time.
Our thanks again go to you the members. It’s genuinely rewarding to gain such invaluable feedback from you, and I very much look forward to sharing the outcome of this process with you in due course. Your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.
Until then, we hope to see you at the members’ forum at Lord’s on Monday evening, which kicks off at 6pm in the Thomas Lord Suite, and for post forum drinks afterwards, when I hope to be able to meet many more of you in person.
