BROOKS MACDONALD EXTENDS WOMEN & GIRLS SPONSORSHIP WITH MIDDLESEX CRICKET

Middlesex Cricket is delighted to announce that long-term sponsor, Brooks Macdonald, has extended the term of its commercial relationship with the Club until the end of the 2022 season, becoming headline sponsor of Middlesex Women and Girls’ Cricket with the Middlesex Women’s First and Second teams, and Girls’ County Age Group squads.

Brooks Macdonald, one of the UK’s leading investment management firms, was one of Middlesex’s Principal Sponsors between 2012 and 2021, and this latest contract extension sees their sponsorship of the Club extend beyond a decade.

The new partnership forms a key part of the Middlesex’s community activations with Brooks Macdonald funding equipment and operations for the club’s Schools T20 Competition as well as funding 100 bursaries for young girls from London to access All Stars.

Middlesex’s Commercial Director, Laura Angus, said:

“We are delighted that Brooks Macdonald has continued its long-term sponsorship of the Club through this new partnership. We will be working closely with the team at Brooks Macdonald to shape the next chapter of the partnership, with a focus on investing in women and girls’ cricket in Middlesex.”

Brooks Macdonald’s Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Shepherd, said:

“As a firm that values Diversity & Inclusion, we are pleased to become Major Sponsor of Women’s, Girls and Community at Middlesex Cricket. Diversity is key to innovation and success in business, and we look forward to working with the team to help fund opportunities that will encourage more women and young people to take part in team sports and equip them with the vital life skills they need to succeed.”
