SQUAD & PREVIEW | MIDDLESEX V DERBYSHIRE | COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP

MIDDLESEX NAME FOURTEEN MAN SQUAD FOR COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP OPENER AT LORD’S

Quick, Blake Cullen, comes in to strengthen the bowling ranks, and opener, Josh De Caires, is added to boost the batting line-up.

Middlesex came through the three-day run-out against a strong Essex outfit in the ascendancy, and it was gave the batters and bowlers plenty of time in the middle in competitive action ahead of this week's opener.

When interviewed after the squad’s training session on Tuesday at Lord’s, Johnson alluded to some injury concerns ahead of the opener, however fitness tests will have taken place today to determine who makes the starting eleven against Derbyshire.
