Dear Member Club,

Thank you for your 2022 Affiliation and engagement in the election for the Board position of Nominated Director for Recreational Cricket. We had five excellent candidates standing for the position and I am delighted to announce that Mr Johan De Silva (Highgate Cricket Club) has been duly elected by the member clubs, receiving 60% of the votes. Johan will take office with effect from the Middlesex Cricket AGM on 17th May and serve for an initial two-year term.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Participation Team at Middlesex Cricket, I would like to thank Duncan Holden, Natalie Raja, Eddie Villiers and Rajiv Vyas for standing as a candidate and their commitment to recreational cricket in the county.

I’m sure you will join with me in congratulating Johan, and no doubt you will contact him direct if you wish to discuss matters that you would like to see raised at Recreational Cricket Committee and Board meetings.

Thanks again for your support and all the best for the remainder of the season.

Kind Regards

Andrew Cornish
